At Jeff Oliver Photography we want to make sure you have a full, easy understanding of our Privacy Policy. This privacy policy provides you with details of how we collect and use your personal data, how it is stored, and how we protect your data.

 

The Data that we collect

While using our Service, we collect information you provide directly to us, such as your name, email address and telephone number this is information that can be used to contact or identify you.
For example, we collect information when you:
Email or call us with an enquiry about our services;
Complete the contact form on our website;
Participate in a prize draw at a wedding fair;
Contact us for any reason, such as to request information on our Services or to provide us with your comments/feedback

Contact forms

We need to know your name, email address/telephone number so we can reply to your enquiry about your photography and of course if you do book us (which we hope you do), we can keep in contact and discuss the plans for your big day.
If you email us or complete the contact form on our website this comes to our password protected email account which only we (Jeff and Sarah) have access to.

If you do book, you will complete our online booking form, which is hosted on our https secure website.
All the information on this form is needed for us to photograph your day. We need your address to send you a lovely thank you card, are more importantly where your photos/frame of your amazing wedding should be sent.
Your telephone number lets us have the all important pre-wedding conversation with you a few days before the big day. We want this so we can check times and addresses and ensure everything runs smoothly.

We may use your email address to contact you with newsletters that may be of interest to you, this would include information of wedding fairs we will be attending and our top tips on wedding photography. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link in any email we send or by contacting us.

How we store your personal data

By sending us the first enquiry email or contact form, you consent to us using your personal information, like your email address/telephone number so that we can have a chat to discuss your photography. If you do decide to go ahead and book us, then your personal data is stored in our GDPR compliant software Tàve, which is also password protected.

If you decide not to book us, we will delete any information we have about you.

As with most websites, this one uses cookies. Cookies are bits of information that are stored on your computer by your web browser. Although the cookies don’t store any of your personal information, they do allow this website to provide you with a more personalised user experience, to track your use of the website. If you do not want your web browser to accept cookies from websites, then this can be adjusted in the tool bar of your web browser.

Right of confirmation

If you would like to know exactly what data we have stored on you, then please do ask, it will only be the data that you have provided. You may update, correct or delete information about you at any time by emailing us.

We will never give your personal data, including your email address out to anyone without your consent.
You may ask us to pass your details to an amazing cake lady we know, but we will ask you before this information is passed on.

When we post photographs on our website, facebook or instagram we never use any more than your first names. Of course if you have asked us not to share your images, we won’t.
